Program Description

 

To participate as a vendor in the Member-to-Member Discount Program, Chamber Members need to complete the Member-to-Member Discount Form. Keep in mind; the discount needs to be better than what is offered to the general public.

 

The Chamber will post, on our web site, a listing of Member-to-Member Discount providers, including the offered discount.

 

The Chamber will publicize the program and distribute Membership ID Cards to all members annually for the current year. To obtain the discount offered, these cards should be presented by the member to the participating business as proof of Chamber membership.

 

[Note: This criteria is unnecessary unless it is a special certificate announcing the merchant is a discount provider.  Not all certificate displayers will be giving discounts. The purchasing member already knows the vendor is a Chamber member.] The discount list, maintained by the Chamber office, will be by business category. The list will have a link to your Chamber ‘homepage’ or your business website along with a brief description of the discount offered.

 

Each participating Chamber Member vendor must review its posting in the Member-to-Member Discount provider listing to confirm it conforms to the vendor’s actual discount policy.  The Chamber Member vendor must immediately inform the Chamber of any changes or discontinuation of its discount.   The Chamber will act solely as an information conduit between its Members and takes no responsibility for the terms, accuracy or availability of any discount.  Any consumer issues that may arise shall be resolved between the merchants and the customer, without involvement of the Chamber.
