Auburn State Theatre, in partnership with The Station Public House, presents 'Cinebrew at the Station' featuring family friendly films, brews, and food in a comfortable outdoor setting. First film in the CineBrew series, Steven Spielberg’s Raiders of the Lost Ark is a now-classic action adventure film and is often considered one of the greatest films ever made. Harrison Ford stars as Indiana Jones in this epic tale in which an intrepid archaeologist tries to beat a band of Nazis to a unique religious relic which is central to their plans for world domination. Battling against a snake phobia and a vengeful ex-girlfriend (Karen Allen), Indiana Jones is in constant peril, making hair's-breadth escapes at every turn in this celebration of the innocent adventure movies of an earlier era. The film originated from Lucas' desire to create a modern version of the serials of the 1930s and 1940s. Raiders became 1981's top-grossing film and won multiple Academy Awards in 1982, including Best Art Direction, Sound, and Visual Effects with a fifth Academy Award: a Special Achievement Award for Sound Effects Editing.
